“Salvatico è quel che si salva.”
“Savage is who / what is saved.”
Leonardo Da Vinci, Codice Trivulziano
“Questo posto è la fonte
Che ogni giorno mi fa vivere.
È qui che ho avuto per la prima volta
Fame e sete.”
“This place is the source
That gives me life each day.
It is here that I first knew
Hunger and thirst.“
Mino Petazzini, Salvatico (Bohumil Edizioni, 2013)
On Friday, 1st May 2026, SALVATICO will be hosting a traditional Bandìga. This old Emilia-Romagna dialect term refers to the celebratory feast that landowners used to throw for their workmen to mark the completion of a major project — such as the topping out of a new roof, where a flag (bandièra) would be hoisted — or the end of a bountiful harvest. It is a celebration intended to herald a season of joy and prosperity, but above all, it is a heartfelt thank you to the artisans and firms — mostly from this very area — who have worked with such commitment and dedication for SALVATICO. Without them, none of this would have been possible!
So thanks to everyone who is putting their professionalism and dedication into making this dream a reality:
